CIR Realty's Brand New Listings

By property type, it’s a different story:
Detached homes remain the most stable, with under three months of supply and benchmark pricing around $724K.

Condos and row homes are adjusting more. Apartment supply is now over five months, with benchmark pricing closer to $301K, giving buyers more leverage in that segment.

Regionally:
Cochrane has loosened up with more listings, Airdrie is sitting fairly balanced, and Okotoks is still running tighter than most.

Don’t worry, it’s nothing too dramatic, we are just heading back to normal. And in this kind of market, smart strategy matters!

Prioritizing Indoor Air Quality for a Healthier Home Environment

A healthy home is about more than how it looks. The way a space feels plays an equally important role in everyday living, and indoor air quality has a quiet but powerful impact on comfort and wellness. Since so much time is spent indoors, especially during colder months, the air inside a home can influence energy levels, focus, and even how well you rest at night. Creating a fresher environment does not require major changes, only a few thoughtful habits.

Fresh air is one of the easiest upgrades. Opening windows when possible, running bathroom fans after showers, and allowing air to circulate through bedrooms helps keep spaces feeling light and refreshed. Textiles such as area rugs, drapes, and cushions add warmth and style, but they can also trap dust over time. Regular vacuuming and washing keeps them clean and contributes to a more breathable home. Feeling dry? Add a humidifier. These subtle changes can make a big impact.

Easy Upgrades for a Fresher, Healthier Home

Stay consistent with routine maintenance. Regularly changing furnace filters, clearing dust from vents, and keeping HVAC systems in good working order helps limit the circulation of dust and airborne particles throughout the home. These small tasks support cleaner air and a more comfortable living environment.

Support high-traffic spaces. Rooms that see frequent activity can benefit from a portable air purifier. These units offer targeted air support without requiring permanent installation or major changes to your home.

Choose lighter cleaning solutions. Using gentler, low-scent or natural cleaning products can help reduce lingering chemical odors while still keeping your space fresh and clean.

Reduce visual and physical clutter. Fewer items mean fewer surfaces for dust to collect, making cleaning easier and helping rooms feel calmer and more open.

Bring nature indoors. Adding leafy houseplants introduces natural texture and warmth while supporting humidity balance and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Create habits that support comfort. When indoor spaces feel breathable and inviting, everyday moments feel easier and more enjoyable, helping your home better support your lifestyle over time.

One of the things I love most about real estate is the people it brings into my life. I’m constantly reminded that I’m not just helping clients move, I’m witnessing them step into new chapters, big dreams, and meaningful goals.

Recently, I had the privilege of helping my client Melody, accomplish something very special — opening her own counselling clinic. I believe strongly in the importance of mental health. We prioritize our homes, careers, and families, but our emotional well-being deserves just as much care and intention. Watching her build this from the ground up has been incredibly inspiring.

She is thoughtful, grounded, and deeply compassionate. The way she speaks about her work, especially her passion for children and couples, says everything. She leads with empathy and integrity, and she has created a space that truly reflects that heart.

I’m so excited to share that Evluni’s grand opening is March 9 and to celebrate their first month, they’re offering 30% off your first session when you book within their opening month!!

I’ve invited her to share more about her new venture in her own words:

About Evluni:

Evluni is a counselling clinic devoted to nurturing mental, emotional, and overall well-being through compassionate, personalized care. Our space was created with intention — a place where you can exhale, feel understood, and know you are not alone.

We offer individual therapy for children (starting at age 4), youth, and adults, as well as couples counselling. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, healing from trauma, strengthening relationships, or simply seeking support, we are here to walk alongside you.

Our doors officially open on March 9th, with appointments available even sooner. We always recommend starting with a free 15-minute consultation. It’s a relaxed opportunity to connect, ask questions, and get a genuine feel for your therapist before committing to your first session. Finding the right fit matters — and we want you to feel confident and comfortable from the very beginning.

As a play therapist, I have a deep passion for working with children. Play is a child’s language, and toys are their words. Through play, children and youth can safely express feelings and experiences that may be too big or too complex to put into words. It is an honour to witness their resilience and growth.

I also value working with couples and supporting them as they strengthen their connection. In my work with couples, I use the Gottman Method — a research-based approach that helps partners improve communication, rebuild connection, and deepen their understanding of one another. There is something truly meaningful about supporting couples as they rediscover each other and grow stronger together.

At our clinic, we provide trauma-focused care and support around abuse recovery, healthy relationships, life transitions, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and many other challenges. Every story is unique, and we are committed to meeting you exactly where you are, with warmth, respect, and care.

If you or someone you care about has been thinking about starting therapy, we would love to connect.

-Melody
