 | | Hi friends! Angelique Garcia here, your Real Estate BFF! Spring’s officially here—and so is a bit more balance in the market. March sales slowed, especially in condos and townhomes, while listings continued to rise. But don’t worry, this is not a bad thing. More options = more breathing room for buyers. 🏡 Detached homes under $700K are still going strong 🏘️ Row homes + condos = more inventory, softer prices 📍 South + West Calgary led price growth 🌄 Cochrane + Okotoks hit record highs for detached homes The Bank of Canada held interest rates steady again this month. That’s good news—when rates go up or down, it can make buyers and sellers hesitate. A hold means more stability and confidence. Tap my picture to watch the full update! |

| | | If you’re new here, welcome! I love giving gifts and I love supporting small businesses, so I’ve partnered up with a company called Lolo to give you some opportunities to check out some local businesses, on me. There’s no catch, just a thank you for reading! We’re thrilled to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and over the past year, we have expanded our impact by launching a fourth gift zone in Red Deer/Central Alberta and are actively working on a fifth, which will encompass Okotoks, High River, and Diamond Valley. The success of this program has exceeded expectations and we look forward to it’s continued growth. More importantly, CIR’s partnership with Lolo has proudly contributed $25,000 back into our local market, reinforcing our commitment to community support and connection. Do you want to be a Lolo gift regular and receive monthly gifts? Let me know if you’d like to automatically be enrolled for our Calgary North or South Zones, Cochrane or Central AB/ Red Deer gift zones! Or you can continue letting me know which specific gifts you’re interested in each month. — Here are our featured vendors for this month: 🌱 Raw by Robyn Located in Calgary’s First Street Market, Raw by Robyn offers nutrient-rich cold-pressed juices and smoothies crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Whether you're kickstarting your morning or seeking a midday refresh, their vibrant blends are designed to energize and nourish. 🍨 Righteous Gelato A Calgary favorite, Righteous Gelato crafts small-batch gelato using honest, high-quality ingredients. With a variety of gluten-free and dairy-free options, their pints are a delightful treat for everyone. ☕ Vine Coffee Co. Nestled in Cochrane’s historic downtown, Vine Coffee Co. is a cozy café and micro-roastery. They roast their beans in-house, ensuring each cup of coffee is fresh and flavorful. Pair your latte with one of their delicious cookies for the perfect coffee break. 🌸 Stems Flowers & Cafe Situated in Red Deer, Stems Flowers & Cafe combines a floral boutique with a charming café. Beyond beautiful flower arrangements, they offer a selection of artisanal soaps and gifts, making it a delightful spot to find something special. This month’s gifts: All you have to do is let me know which one you’d like before 7 pm on Tuesday April 22nd for you to receive an emailed voucher on Wednesday April 23rd! Enjoy this month’s gifts on me—and don’t forget to tag me if you stop by! I’d love to hear about your experience. Hope to hear from you soon! |

| | | | | Last month’s LoLo gift was a $15 voucher to Sprout Calgary—and I had the best time picking out some new plant babies! The space is cozy and curated, but the best part was how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were. Neil and I walked away with a Venus fly trap, some tiny succulents, a cactus, and a jade bonsai—aka a lineup of (mostly) low-maintenance plants that suit our travel-filled lifestyle. I love gardening, but I haven’t been the most consistent plant parent in the past few years… so this was a great way to ease back into it. If you’re looking for expert advice and a beautiful little shop to browse, Sprout is well worth a visit. Any low maintenance plant recommendations you’d like to share? Let me know! |
